Diggin In – Summer Intensive

A training for teachers, volunteers, parents and other educators to dig into the topic of school gardening. During this summer intensive, we will play, garden, create, plan and learn together. This is a hands-on workshop facilitated at Soil Born Farms in a variety of outdoor learning environments.

This three day workshop includes lessons, planting guides, games, songs, materials, plants and seeds. Topics covered will be based upon participant needs, but can include the following: curriculum plans, techniques of gardening with youth, soil care and composition, composting, drip irrigation basics, units of discovery for the garden, garden design and much more.
