Ready for a farm adventure? Youth ages 6-11 are encouraged to join us on the 1st Saturday of the month in experiencing Soil Born Farms as you explore, investigate, taste, make and garden. Each Saturday has a unique focus that will offer students new learning experiences, opportunities to make new friends and a chance for them to connect with the outdoor world.
Parents are encouraged to enjoy a relaxing morning on the farm, listen to live music, meet friends for coffee at Phoebe’s, take a walk or class, shop for produce and plants or drop off their kids and have three hours to themselves on Saturday morning. This can be a good option for siblings, play dates or scout troops. This three hour experience requires pre-registration and parents must sign a waiver.
Cordova Creek Sneak and Splash
Saturday, February 7, 9am-12pm
Come bring your sense of adventure as we hike to Cordova Creek. Along the way we will search for unique plants, creatures, animal tracks, scat, and other cool surprises at the creek. Songs, games, and plenty of fun will surely be a part of the experience too! So bring your waterproof shoes and a sense of adventure as we explore the waterways on the farm!
The Luck of the Clover
Saturday, March 7, 9am-12pm
Spring is around the corner and what can be more of a symbol for this time of year than the clover! Join us in the Youth Garden as we learn about this lucky little flower while making a shamrock bouquet to take home. The Leprechans are active on the farm this time of year… shall we see what surprises they left us?
