Imagine walking through a medicinal garden and knowing the name for every plant! Learning to correctly identify medicinal plants deeply enriches the experience of every herbalist, from beginner to expert. Correct identification is essential to safely using wild and garden plants, and offers a deeper understanding of the plants and their medicinal properties. This class will introduce basic strategies for plant identification, common families of medicinal plants, and the use of a plant key to help you learn to identify any plant! Weather permitting, we will spend much of this class outdoors with the plants.
