     9:00am - 10:30am

Discover the wonder of the farm through our multi-sensory exploration sessions for toddlers age 3-5 and an adult chaperone. Sing songs, play games, listen to stories and explore with all our senses. Toddlers will gain new vocabulary, practice social skills and work on executive functions.

Saturday, February 14, 9-10:30 am
Wonderful Water

Learn about the importance of water for all living things by building a water cycle with felt, playing our Water Movers game and building a water gauge to take home and measure rain levels. We’ll sing the “We Come From the Water,” song and end with making our own snow storms in a jar.

Saturday, February 28, 9-10:30 am
Plant Part Palooza

Take a trip with us to the greenhouse where we’ll practice our early math skills by learning about the six plant parts. Students will make their own mini-greenhouses, sing the “Six Plant Parts” song, and build their own plant using veggies from the farm.

Saturday, March 14, 9-10:30 am
Li’l Earth Stewards

Learn the importance of reusing and recycling by making cardboard pots. Students will work on their motor skills by practicing painting on tiny ceramic pots. We’ll sing, “The Farmer Plants the Seed” song and learn how to harvest seeds from dried flowers to take home their very own seed packets.

Saturday, March 28, 9-10:30 am
Planting Party

Enjoy a beautiful day in the Youth Garden where your student will become a gardener in training. Students will use garden tools, transplant sprouts into the ground and seed beans directly into our bean tunnel! We’ll practice teamwork while working together in different garden stations like mulching and watering and finally make a take-home root view cup.
