Herbs for Deep Nourishment

  •  Sat., October 18, 2025
     10:00am - 12:30pm

There are many herbs and many ways to use them. Perhaps the most valuable herbs in our modern time are those that balance, calm deeply, and provide greater emotional and physical resilience. These provide a strong foundation for well-being. This class is all about these herbs and how to use them, including nutritious herbs that feed tissues and provide the building blocks for a healthy system, those that build deep immunity, and those that provide a profound resilience to stress. Perfect for fall, this class will be a relaxing and fun hands-on introduction to the herbs that nourish us.

We will talk about

  • Nervines: herbs to calm the nervous system
  • Nervous system restoratives: herbs that bring balance and health back to a frazzled nervous system
  • Adaptogens: herbs to build resilience to physical, mental and emotional stress
  • Immunomodulators: herbs that help remind the immune system how best to play its role
  • Tissue builders: herbs (and foods) that build healthy tissues for better body function
  • Nutritives: herbs that are high in vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and other deeply nutritious substances

You will:

  • See, taste, smell and feel many of the herbs
  • Sample herbal products
  • Make a nourishing herbal product of your own to take home
  • Leave with many recipes and ideas to use at home
