This introductory class will cover simple herbal remedies you can make at home, and when and how to use them. We will discuss herbal teas, tinctures, oils, salves, and herbal foods, with examples of uses for particular herbs and combinations. We will discuss the best herbal preparations for particular herbs and how to think about creating formulas that combine multiple herbs. Participants will practice medicine-preparation techniques and make remedies to take home.

There is a materials fee for hands-on, take-home projects.
