We have reached thousands of children, teens and adults with our programs by obtaining public and private grants. But we cannot operate on program grants alone. We rely on your donations and underwriting support to be a strong organization capable of meeting the challenges and opportunities in the coming years. Put your money where your values are! Help make this region a healthier place and be part of a local food system that is innovative, equitable and sustainable.
Partnership Opportunities
We are offering underwriting opportunities to support a variety of wonderful community events and activities designed to celebrate the agricultural heritage of the region, promote healthy living and showcase local food, chefs, wineries, artists and business. Learn, have fun, enjoy delicious farm-fresh food and benefit a good cause! Events are listed after the partner benefits chart below.
The underwriting support we receive from local businesses, organizations, foundations and individuals makes it possible for our fundraising events to generate discretionary funds that Soil Born Farms needs to sustain our work in this region. The financial support we receive helps cover our operating expenses and is invested in the restoration and development projects at the historic American River Ranch, a community treasure.
Choose to underwrite one event/program or become a sustaining partner for the year with a $25,000 investment that supports our 2024-25 priorities. This year, the proceeds from fundraising efforts will help fund our commercial kitchen project and other site improvements. Sustaining partners will receive all of the benefits below. Partnerships will be individually crafted and additional benefits may apply.

Events & Programs

Adopt-a-SchoolWe have many schools interested in our programs but they cannot afford the minimal fees. Your sponsorship will support hundreds of youth in meaningful outdoor and hands-on experiences promoting healthy families, communities and the environment. This is a great way to make a real difference by give local kids a chance to learn from the natural world and make the connection between food, health and the environment. Partnership Levels: $500 enables a class of up to 30 students from preschool through grade 12 to experience a Discovery Field Trip; $2,500 enables a class of up to 30 students from grades 2–12 to participate in our Exploration program
