Take a journey into the amazing fungi kingdom and learn how certain fungi and mushrooms can benefit your garden, health and the planet. In this hands-on workshop you’ll learn easy mushroom cultivation methods you can do at home to grow food, medicine and bring vitality to your garden.

Mushrooms as Medicine
Cultivation (inoculation of varied media from Oyster mushrooms in coco coir, grain, coffee grounds, and woodchips, to shiitake in logs).

Instructors: Matthew Trumm, Owner of Treetop Permaculture and Sarah Jo Michalak, Master Gardener/School Garden Coordinator.

$30 *Plus $10 materials fee, payable to the instructor in class for those who want to take home their own mushroom growing kit.
