A four week online/on-farm course dedicated to building a home apothecary using herbs you can grow, collect, and find in your spice rack. The course consists of easy to follow explanations, quick guides to be saved and referenced, demonstrations, weekly at-home herbal projects, hands on learning, and an herb kit mailed to your home! This course focuses on herbs that are readily available to help you build self-reliance into your wellness routine.
Come learn the basics of compost while we work to turn, sift and activate our compost system. You will walk away with a knowledge of the basic ingredients for compost and an idea of how to care for and maintain a healthy compost system.
Do you get all tangled up and confused when you are looking at drip irrigation? In this work and learn, we will practice using a variety of irrigation parts and repair some existing systems. You will leave with a list of needed parts for your garden and a good sense of how to assemble a drip system.
The 60-minute class includes breath work and intentional movement and is open to all levels. Please register in advance. Bring your own mat and water bottle.

When spring comes to California, an array of green healing herbs come with it. Violet, chickweed, little mallow, and plantain are all plants that are often overlooked as weeds, which have so much to offer the skin. Come to this class to learn how to make an infused oil and salve from these plants – techniques which can be transported to any other plants you wish to transform into your own health herbal care products.
We will discuss the growth habitat, harvest requirements, and how to use each plant.
