Check out the next teacher training, A-Buzz With Life, Bringing Pollinators to Your School Garden.Learn about 4 simple and seasonal recipes that can be used with kids in the classroom or garden setting. We will also review basic items that will create success while cooking with students including tools and basic ingredient kits. We will prepare all 4 recipes and then eat together at the end.

Learn the nuts and bolts of irrigation, plant selection, needed materials, signage ideas, curriculum resources and more. Come prepared to collaborate and create.

This workshop, for teachers, educators, and volunteers, will look at 12 plants that attract pollinators, stimulate the senses, provide edible treats for students, have herbal uses and create beautiful environments in your school gardens. We will touch, taste and create with these plants. It will be hands-on and engaging. Join us for happy hour and networking after the workshop.

Using native plants for food and materials brings the connection we have with the environment to the forefront. Learn how to analyze plants for human use and how to collect them in a sustainable way.
