Walla Walla Sweet Onion and Watermelon Salsa


1 cup Walla Walla sweet onion, chopped
2 cups watermelon, chopped
1 cup orange sections, chopped
1⁄4 cup orange marmalade
1⁄4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
1⁄4 cup jalapeno peppers, finely chopped
2 tablespoons white wine vinegar
1 large garlic clove, minced
1⁄2 teaspoon salt


  1. In a large bowl, stir together orange marmalade, cilantro, jalapeno peppers, vinegar, garlic, and salt.
  2. Add watermelon, onions, and orange sections. Gently toss together until coated.
  3. Chill at least 30 minutes before serving.
  4. Try with cantaloupe instead of watermelon for a tantalizing variation!
