Summertime Sandwich

Ingredients:

Keep this one on the backburner until the tomatoes start coming in or try it without them.
• 2 slices ciabatta or other crusty bread per sandwich
• 1 cup chopped mizuna
• 1 medium tomato per sandwich
• Sliced lunchmeat or leftover steak
• Aioli or plain mayo

Directions:

  1. Cut tomato into thick slices. Layer meat, tomato and mizuna on one slice of bread, slather aioli on the other, slap ‘em together and call it a sandwich.
