Sugar and Spice Toasted Pumpkin Seeds


1 cup pumpkin seeds
1 tablespoon melted butter or vegetable oil
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1/2 to 1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg


  1. Rinse the seeds and pat dry with paper towels, then toss the seeds with the butter, sugar, and spices.
  2. Heat the oven to 300°.
  3. Spread the coated seeds on a baking sheet, and roast in the oven, stirring occasionally until nicely browned and crunchy.
