3⁄4 pound sugar snap pea, ends and strings removed
2 medium sized turnips, halved and thinly sliced
1 tablespoon oil
1 spring onion, chopped
1 green garlic, chopped
1 teaspoon honey
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 tablespoon chopped chives
Directions:
Bring a medium sized pot to a boil and add salt. Cook peas for 3 minutes. Add turnips and continue cooking another 2 minutes. Drain.
In medium sized pan, over medium heat, sauté the spring onion in oil until translucent. Add green garlic and fry until fragrant.
Add drained vegetables along with the honey and stir until glazed. Adjust seasonings. Sprinkle chives on top and serve immediately.
