Though a spicy green (like arugula) works excellent in this recipe, any green will work.
1 lg head of broccoli, stalks and florets chopped into bite size pieces
1/2 to 1 bu. kale, chopped finely
3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil, divided
2-3 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
Dried chili or chili flakes
1 pound pasta shells or other variety
Salt and pepper to taste
Optional: ricotta salata or parmesan cheese
