Sean's Salad Dressing

Here’s one of my favorite salad dressings—perfect with salad mix, sliced Tokyo turnips and a generous sprinkling of toasted sunflower or pumpkin seeds. I never measure the amounts so these are approximations.


3 tbsp apple cider vinegar
6 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp tahini
1 tsp miso
1/4 tsp honey or brown rice syrup
1 clove garlic or 1 spring onion bulb, finely diced
Pinch of salt and pepper


  1. Wisk the tahini, miso, honey and garlic into the vinegar (the tahini will act as a binding agent for the olive oil so make sure it’s completely mixed. Add the olive oil and wisk until completely blended.

Double the recipe for larger salads.
