Rosemary Roasted Beets


4-5 beets
2-3 cloves garlic sliced thin
4 sprigs rosemary
1-2 tab canola oil
salt and pepper


  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F.
  2. Peel the beets.
  3. Cut beets into wedges- 4.
  4. In a large bowl, add beet wedges, minced rosemary and sliced garlic.
  5. Grind in some fresh salt and pepper and toss to coat.
  6. Place in a shallow baking dish and cover.
  7. Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes.
  8. Uncover and bake for another 30 minutes.
  9. Remove from oven and let stand for a few minutes before serving.
