This is my favorite way to eat turnips but it works just as well with any root crop.
Wash and cut scarlet turnips into one inch cubes.
Toss in a bowl with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
Place on a baking sheet in a single layer and bake at 375 degrees for about 30-40 minutes stirring and flipping half way through.
Turnips (or whatever root crops) are done when browned and soft when forked.
