1 pound broccoli
1 1/2 tablespoons olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1 teaspoon orange zest
2 tablespoons fresh squeezed orange juice
2 tablespoons almonds, toasted and chopped
Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
Trim the broccoli and cut it into florets. In a large bowl, toss the broccoli with the oil. Transfer to a rimmed baking sheet and season with salt, pepper and red pepper flakes. Roast until the broccoli is just tender and begins to brown, about 25 minutes.
Transfer the broccoli to a serving dish and drizzle with the orange juice. Sprinkle with the orange zest and almonds and serve immediately.
