Grilled Romaine

Ingredients:

2 large heads of Romaine lettuce
Olive oil
Salt
pepper

Directions:

  1. Cut lettuce heads in half, lengthwise.
  2. Drizzle with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  3. Place on hot grill, cut side down.
  4. Grill 5-6 minutes, turning often for equal browning.
  5. Chop roughly for a summer salad or use as a bed for tofu or meat.
