Garlic Molasses BBQ Sauce


2 cups apple (butter/sauce/skinned, cored and mashed)
4 cloves garlic, peeled, minced
2 tbsp molasses
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 tbsp oil (or to taste)


  1. In a frying pan over low heat, slowly sauté garlic in oil until golden brown.
  2. Add apple in whatever form, sugar and molasses.
  3. Cook on low heat stirring often and adding water if too thick.
  4. Makes a great BBQ sauce by itself or as a base for a tomato BBQ sauce.
  5. Delicious with pork.
