Fresh Edamame

Our edamame, when prepared properly, are a healthy and tasty snack.

Ingredients:

Directions:

Just bring 5 to 7 cups of water to a boil in a large pot; dump in soybeans and 1 tsp. of salt and lower heat to a low boil.
Cook uncovered for 12-15, or until tender.
To check doneness, run whole pods under cold water and make sure skin comes off easily and bean is tender-crisp (not mushy).

Fresh soybeans can also be used in other dishes.
