How to Freeze Sweet Potatoes

Ingredients:

sweet potatoes
baking sheets
freezer containers

Directions:

  1. Peel sweet potatoes. Then slice into ½-inch slices or cut into chunks.
  2. Steam or roast (375 degrees) for 30 to 45 minutes, until you can insert a paring knife without resistance.
  3. Allow pieces to come to room temperature.
  4. Flash freeze on baking sheets.
  5. Store in your favorite freezer-safe container, removing as much air as possible
  6. Store for up to twelve months.
