Frozen peaches are super versatile and perfect for blending in smoothies, baking in a crisp or cobbler, swirling into sorbet, tossing into oatmeal or a batch of overnight oats or cooked down into jam.
Ingredients:
peaches
lemons
baking sheet
Directions:
Wash the peaches.
Cut in half or into slices, no peeling required.
Soak the cut peaches in a lemon juice bath for 5 minutes. 4 cups water + 2 tablespoons lemon juice. Drain.
Arrange in a single layer on a large baking sheet.
Freeze for up to 4 hours or overnight.
Transfer to a freezer bag or container, labeled with the contents and date.
