Fig and Honey Smoothie


4 medium fresh or frozen Black Mission figs
½ medium ripe frozen banana
7 to 8 ounces plain Greek yogurt
1 tablespoon honey
1 pinch salt
¼ to ½ cup milk of your choice, or to taste


  1. Cut the tips of the fig stems off, slice in half and add to a blender.
  2. Add the banana half, Greek-style yogurt, honey, salt, and ¼ cup of the milk to the blender.
  3. Purée until smooth and continue adding milk if you would like a thinner consistency.
