8 Asian pears, cored and cut into quarters
2 Fuyu persimmons, cored and cut into quarters
1 orange, cut into 8 slices
1 large handful of pomegranate arils
3 cinnamon sticks
5-8 whole cloves
5-8 whole allspice
Dash of ground nutmeg
In a large slow cooker add the fruit and spices. Fill the crock pot with water to the top leaving a little room.
Set the cooker on low for 8 hours. It’s nice to do this overnight so when you wake up your house smells delightful!
Strain out the fruit and spices with a fine mesh strainer.
