Broccoli Salad-1

Good source of fiber. Raw broccoli contains as much calcium as whole milk. The florets, stalk and leaves are all edible.


1 large head of broccoli, washed and cut into bite size pieces
1 small red onion, thinly sliced
1 small head of cabbage, thinly sliced
1 Tablespoon vinegar
1 Tablespoon olive oil


  1. Combine oil, vinegar, salt and pepper. Add cabbage and onion.
  2. Meanwhile, boil broccoli in large pot of water for 2 minutes, drain immediately and soak in cold water to cool.
  3. Once cool, add to other ingredients, combine and serve.
