This class is postponed due to the Coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic and in adherence to our government’s health and safety guidelines. Thank you for your patience and understanding. Come learn all about the native bees that help our flowers; spend time gardening in our native bee garden; play silly games and make a floral beeswax candle to celebrate our favorite pollinators. This program is designed for youth (ages 5-18) and accompanying adults.
Hike along the American River Parkway to learn about seasonal changes in our local flora and fauna. Reconnect, build awareness and share the joy and wonders of the natural world together. Enjoy a small picnic in the shade with fresh fall fruit provided by the farm. This program is designed for youth (ages 5 through 18) and accompanying adults.
Celebrate spring in the garden with hands on projects the whole family can do together. Youth and adults will build small planter boxes to take home, learn how to build healthy soil, sow seeds and transplant plants. We will enjoy a fresh snack from the farm with herbal sun tea.
