In this class, adults will learn how to teach children that the garden is a safe and welcoming place where they can leave their stress behind. You will learn to teach resiliency skills, stress management skills, and self-soothing techniques that empower children and help them express themselves. You will leave with practical ideas that can help children ages 4 through 17. Recommended for parents, care providers and teachers (adults only). No art or garden experience is necessary.

Practice 4 NGSS aligned units that can be used in partnership with a school garden or outdoor learning space. You will practice activities, prepare the materials, learn games, and be challenged to use your critical thinking in the process.
