This class is cancelled due to low enrollment. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Check out Produce with a Purpose: Container Garden Cuisine class on April 11. Did your doctor tell you to eat more produce? Eating healthy doesn’t have to be overwhelming and sure doesn’t have to taste like dirt and twigs. Join us each month for useful, wellness-boosting information; a cooking demo of stupid-easy, madly tasty, secretly healthy, plant-centric dishes; and a garden-foods goodie bag to take home. Leafy greens don’t have to be something you eat just because mom says they’re good for you. From baby bok choy to mizuna, the variety of tastes and textures are endless. We will sample different greens, learn about the benefits of leafy veggies, and try a couple of delicious recipes.

This class has been cancelled. We apologize for the inconvenience. It may be rescheduled later in the year. Greens are versatile and can be used in many ways: in soups, salads, side dishes or even as the prime ingredient in meals. This class will focus on different types of greens (collards, kale, spinach and arugula), what they can be used for and how to prepare them.
