Roasted Asparagus

Asparagus is rich in cancer-fighting vitamins A and C, and its high chlorophyll content makes asparagus a good blood builder.


1 bunch of asparagus, ends removed and cut into 1 ½ inch pieces
2 gloves of garlic, finely chopped
1 Tablespoon olive oil
1 Lemon (optional)


  1. Preheat oven to 375°.
  2. Toss asparagus and garlic in oil, season with salt.
  3. Spread evenly on baking sheet and roast for 8-10 minutes. Add freshly ground black pepper and the juice of 1 lemon.
