Farmhouse Kitchen Prepared Foods

The Farmhouse Kitchen has transformed into a seasonal soup kitchen, offering a collection of comforting and healing soups made from beautiful organic produce, quality sourced local ingredients and, of course, a healthy dose of love. Each week we offer soup made from homemade stocks and broths and fortified with herbs and other healthful, nutrient-rich ingredients to enrich body and soul.

Aromatic Chickpea Stew with Sautéed Greens, Coconut and Turmeric Based upon the beloved recipe by popular New York Times food-writer Alison Roman, we use organic winter greens in a healthful and deliciously simple stew starring turmeric-infused coconut milk and crispy chickpeas. Vegan/Gluten-free. Optional yogurt garnish.

Hearty Mushroom, Vegetable and Barley Soup Tuck into a warm bowl of this nourishing and healthy soup chock full of organic mushrooms, Savoy spinach, winter squash, carrots, leeks, potatoes and fresh herbs. Barley makes it comforting and hearty. Vegan/Dairy-free

Greenhouse Garden Shop

With the new year well under way, we have a lot of exciting changes happening around the farm including a new greenhouse. Looking ahead to spring, we will soon be offering a wide selection of herbs, flowers and vegetable seedlings in individual pots, 6-packs and our Soil Born Farms collections. We have organic potting soil, compost, worm castings, seeds, garden tools and wine barrel planters too.

Fruit Tree Nursery Pick: Gala Apples

Gala Apples are delicious additions to your edible landscape. This variety originated in New Zealand and is adapted to both cold and warm winter climates. The fruit is crisp, aromatic and rich in flavor with a nice blend of sweetness and tartness. The skin is reddish orange with some yellow. These apples can be enjoyed raw or cooked and are packed with heart-healthy nutrients such as fiber, vitamin C and potassium. Gala Apples are on sale this week: $5 off a single apple or $15 off per pair. Find them in the Greenhouse Garden Shop section of our Online Marketplace.
