Our Grow Your Groceries Beginning Home Gardener intensive will cover the essential topics to help the new gardener create and maintain a thriving, abundant edible organic garden. Combining indoor presentations and interactive demonstrations and hands-on activities, this course will give you the knowledge and confidence to get out and grow food for you and your family.

• Prep & Plant Your Garden
• Water and Irrigation
• Garden Ecology & Pest Management
• Growing Herbs and Perennials

Instructor: Daylin Wade, Herbalist and Community Educator

Location: American River Ranch, 2140 Chase Drive, Rancho Cordova in the Schoolhouse and Garden.

Course Fee: Early Bird Rate through February 10: $175, Regular Rate after February 10: $195

Notes: Please wear closed-toed shoes and weather-appropriate work clothes. Bring gardening gloves, a hat, and a snack, if desired.  We recommend bringing a binder for the course packet and note taking.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellation requests can be made through March 16 for a full refund minus a $25 administrative fee.  We cannot provide refunds for cancellation requests made after March 16, but we will allow you to send someone in your place with advanced notification.
